As part of the „Designers Collection by Domus Licht“ – an idea of Tim Brauns – Tina Bunyaprasit and Werner Aisslinger designed the lighting family TINTIN.
Two rotationally symmetric shapes, a wooden oak base and a lampshade made of haptically and visually unique fabric converge into one and become a new lamp of enthralling simplicity.
„In our digital era simple geometric shapes experience new esteem and attractivity – with the growing complexity of our lives and environments, the longing for clear, elementary form and proportion gets more and more important. Answering this longing TINTIN is playing with analogies of familiar archetypical objects like chess pieces or historic columns.“
